Cage Cam
A high-frame-rate camera rig for a batting cage that records every swing and cuts it into clips, so a Read the Swing-style review could run on your own swings.

Data it needs
The data lake →0 of 1 on hand; the rest arrives in phase 6, Personal.
The idea
Read the Swing works because broadcast video catches the instant before contact. A cage camera that captures every swing at high frame rate, and finds contact automatically, would bring the same frame-by-frame look to anyone’s practice.
First version
- One camera at a fixed angle, triggered by motion, saving a short clip per swing.
- Contact found from the sound of the bat, the same trick Read the Swing’s clip pipeline uses.
- A simple page listing the day’s swings with a freeze at contact.
